Palm fiber boiler is a kind of biomass boiler, which burns the waste of palm oil factory, like palm fiber and palm husk. On March 24, 2018, Taishan Group won a ESP (electrostatic precipitator) project in Malaysia, aiming to lower the dust emission of the palm fiber boiler.
The palm oil factory is in Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. And it has one existing 35t/h palm fiber boiler, which has one set of multicyclone dust collector. However, current dust emission is 800mg/m3, failing to meet local environmental protection requirement. We provide one set of single electric field high voltage ESP, and final dust emission can reach 100mg/m3.

When comparing with other type of dust remover, ESP has higher efficiency up to 99%. Besides, it can capture the dust of 0.01-50μm, and dispose of a large amount of flue gas. It is suitable for high temperature (up to 500 ° C), high pressure and high humidity (up to 100%). In addition, it can realize continuous automatic operation. Most importantly, it has low resistance, and the pressure loss is only 100~200Pa. Therefore, we hope to further promote the application of ESP for industrial biomass boiler in Malaysia.
