Corner Tube Boiler is more advanced gas fired boiler type. Power plant boiler manufacturer Taishan Group won an order of two sets 85tph corner tube boilers in 2019. The final user is a slat mine located in the Southwest part of China. Now the two sets gas steam boilers are under construction and will be in operation as of September 2020.

It is single drum full membrane wall horizontal flue duct positive pressure combustion natural circulation gas boiler. The boiler body is composed of membrane wall, top header and downcomer. The top header pre-separates the steam and is directly connected to the steam drum. The undersaturated water returns from the downcomer to the lower header. The steam reaches the water level of steam drum through the top header. The steam-water separating device can guarantee very high steam dryness. The tubular structure composed of downcomer, header and water wall has good stability and uniform temperature. Adopting full weld form, the tubular structure has same temperature level as steam drum. No maintenance work is necessary after completion of insulation.

Corner Tube Boiler Flue Gas Flow

The gas burner is on the front wall of the furnace and adopts swirling combustion. High temperature flue gas flows through the convection tube bank, high temperature superheater, low temperature superheater, convection outlet tube bundle, spiral finned tube economizer condenser, and chimney.
